President's message

November  2019

Dear Broward Coalition Members,

Our thanks to Alex Leonardo with Lanter, Leonardo & Dicrescenzo for presenting an informative discussion on the”Surviving Budget Season and” Best Practices in Accounting at our October Meeting.

Please remember that Hurricane Season ends on November 30. Hurricane Otto formed in the Gulf on November 21, 2016. So please be prepared, and vigilant. We are also at the tail-end of the Rainy Season, are you still being bugged by Mosquitoes? For help and assistance with Mosquito problems, call 954-765-4062 or Call 311.

With the Holiday Season among us, please remember to ask your local Police Departments on their Holiday Safety, and Crime Prevention tips. The #1 crime during the holiday season is package theft. Here are some simple tips to try and deter package theft in your community. If you see any suspicious persons, or activity you can call Florida Safe at 1-855-352-7233, your local Law Enforcement, or 911.

As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, we need to count our blessings. For Family, good health, and good Friends to share the best of times of times. As always The Broward Coalition is forever grateful to you, our Members. To all of our Individual Members, Association Members, and Vendor Partner Members. Thank you for all your support. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Save the Date: Special December Town-hall meeting with a Panel of experts that will be discussing the upcoming 2020 legislative session. Let your voice be heard, your input is important and welcomed.
