May 14, 2012- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Broward Coalition Executive Board of Directors will be meeting with Lobbyist, Travis Moore. to discuss legislative recommendations and changes to Florida Law pertaining directly to condominium and homeowner associations.
Mr. Moore also represents, Becker and Poliakoff's CALL, a condominium/homeowner’s advocate organization , as well as The Community Association institute(CAI)
Visitors to the Broward Coalition’s website (BrowardCoalition.net) are asked to go to the “What’s Your Story” page and simply send us their suggested legislative suggestions and changes they would like to be considered.
Visitors to the site have already made their voices heard suggesting bank forced foreclose on a home or unit that is delinquent for a minimum of 12 month or pay penalties to the association." or "Anyone with a financial interest, including banks, would also be held responsible for the maintenance of a home or unit that is not being maintained"
The Broward Coalition which is made up of over 375 associations (18,000+ residents) from Broward, Palm, Beach and Miami Dade, has been supporting, educating, and defending their members for over thirty five years. In doing this the Coalition has always been heard loud and clear . The upcoming 2012-2013 legislative session will be no different.
